AU-CogNet is a group of early-career researchers at Aarhus University, spread across different departments, but sharing an interest in cognition, behaviour, the brain, and the mind.

The aim of this group is to support our professional development and promote social events. We run monthly events as well as one larger event every semester.
Target Audience
CogNet is open to all early-career researchers at Aarhus University with an interest in cognition, behaviour and the mind. The main units are:
- Interacting Minds Centre - IMC
- Department of Linguistics,Cognitive Science and Semiotics - LICS
- Center of Functionally Integrative Neuroscience - CFIN
- Center for Music in the Brain - MIB
- The Department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences - Psychology

Founded in 2023, CogNet was established to bring together early-career researchers from diverse disciplines at Aarhus University with a shared passion for the brain, mind, and behavior. Our goal is to foster communication, collaboration, and the exchange of innovative ideas across various research domains. By creating a vibrant, interdisciplinary community, we aim to break down barriers between fields and advance cutting-edge research in neuroscience, psychology, and behavioral science.
At CogNet, we understand that building a strong research network goes beyond academic collaboration. That’s why we also host regular social events where members can relax, connect, and truly build a sense of community. Whether you're diving into deep discussions or simply enjoying a break, CogNet offers a space to grow both professionally and personally as we explore the complexities of the mind together.
