About Us

Goal

Founded in 2023, CogNet was established to bring together early-career researchers from diverse disciplines at Aarhus University with a shared passion for the brain, mind, and behavior. Our goal is to foster communication, collaboration, and the exchange of innovative ideas across various research domains. By creating a vibrant, interdisciplinary community, we aim to break down barriers between fields and advance cutting-edge research in neuroscience, psychology, and behavioral science.

At CogNet, we understand that building a strong research network goes beyond academic collaboration. That’s why we also host regular social events where members can relax, connect, and truly build a sense of community. Whether you're diving into deep discussions or simply enjoying a break, CogNet offers a space to grow both professionally and personally as we explore the complexities of the mind together.

Who are we?

AU-CogNet is managed by a dedicated committee of early-career researchers from Aarhus University, representing diverse faculties and academic backgrounds. Our goal is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and create engaging opportunities for researchers at all career stages.

Every semester, we bring you a wide variety of workshops designed to appeal across faculties and disciplines. These workshops aim to inspire, educate, and connect researchers from different fields.
